Scope

This policy describes the current public website at Photographer Software Guide. It is based on the site implementation as reviewed for this phase and is not legal advice.

Information visitors provide directly

The current site does not provide user accounts, comments, payments, newsletter signup, or a public contact form. The guarded quiz runs in the browser and does not submit raw answers to a server controlled by this project.

Automatic technical information and infrastructure logs

The site is hosted as a static website through Cloudflare Pages. Normal hosting, security, and delivery infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time of request, and similar server-log data. Those logs are part of the hosting infrastructure rather than a custom application database in this project.

Cookies and browser storage

The reviewed site source does not use localStorage or sessionStorage for visitor tracking. Browser behavior, Google Analytics, and hosting infrastructure may still use technical mechanisms outside the project source code.

Analytics status

Google Analytics 4 is used for aggregate site measurement. The site sends page views and a small conversion-event taxonomy such as CTA impressions, CTA clicks, guarded quiz progress milestones, software-profile views, recommendation-result views, and outbound link clicks. The project does not send raw quiz answers, free-text visitor input, full URLs with query strings, email addresses, or project-created user identifiers in these analytics events. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the project-controlled GA4 configuration.

Contact communications

Visitors may contact the site at contact@studiosoftwareguide.com. Email received at this public address may be routed through third-party email infrastructure for delivery. Do not send sensitive or confidential information.

External links and third-party software sites

The site may link to official product, help, pricing, legal, or source pages on third-party websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices and are not controlled by Photographer Software Guide.

Affiliate-link status

Affiliate links and affiliate calls to action are not active in the current site. If affiliate links are introduced later, the site should update this policy and provide clear reader-facing disclosure.

Data retention

Because the current site does not collect visitor submissions through a project-controlled form or account system, it does not maintain a project-controlled visitor account database. Infrastructure logs may be retained by hosting providers according to their operational practices.

Data security limitations

Reasonable care is used when publishing the static site, but no website or hosting environment can guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for photographers and business readers. It is not directed to children.

International visitors

Visitors may access the site from different regions. Hosting and infrastructure processing may occur in locations used by the service providers involved in delivering the static website.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when the site adds new features, analytics, contact methods, affiliate links, or other material changes.
